Vancouver, B.C., May 8th, 2026 – Ximen Mining Corp. (TSX.v: XIM) (FSE: 1XM) (OTC: XXMMF) (the “Company” or “Ximen”) is pleased to provide the following update on its Kenville mine project, located in the historic Nelson mining camp in southeastern B.C.
Consultant Engineer and Mine Manager at Kenville mine site
The Company reports that its engineering and environmental consultants were on the mine site last week to coordinate their input on completion of a water retention works design. The engineered design is required to be submitted to the Ministry of Energy and Critical Minerals for approval prior to commencement of construction. This item is required prior to mine construction under the Mines Act permit for the Kenville mine project.
This is a key step in the work being done by the Company to advance this project toward construction of the new underground decline. The objective of the decline is to access multiple gold-bearing quartz veins in the areas west and south of the historic mine that were intersected in surface drill holes.
Dr. Mathew Ball, P.Geo., VP Exploration for Ximen Mining Corp. and a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101, reviewed and approved the technical information contained in this News Release.
